Josephine Faulkner has been dancing for over eighteen years and has been a dance teacher for the last six years. She grew up dancing at Stepping Out Performing Arts Center under the direction of Heather Knight and Autumn Ritter. In addition to Heather and Autumn, Josephine feels deeply indebted to the many other beautiful people who have poured into her by sharing their time, talent, and passion for dance. Those closest to her heart include the brilliant instructors Raqi Carter, Cherrise Wakeham and Alyssa Vacco Daniello. These people greatly inspired her and helped her develop her style and passion for the art of dance and the genres of contemporary and hip-hop especially. Josie has received many awards and scholarships during her competitive dance time including scholarship offers from Berry College and ADMA College and Conservatory of dance. She is most proud to have been awarded top senior soloist at the Starpower Atlanta Dance Competition in 2017. Josephine is thrilled to be a part of the Atlanta Contemporary Dance Company for a second Season.
