Silvia Faulkner grew up constantly immersed in dance during her youth, as the youngest child of five competitive dancers. She studied under the instruction of the talented team of Heather Knight and Autumn Ritter at Stepping Out Performing Arts Center in Woodstock, Georgia. She has extensive training in contemporary, jazz, Hip-hop, lyrical, and tap and has been blessed to train under many gifted instructors including Lauren Overstreet, Frederic Faulkner, Colman Faulkner, Cherrise Wakeham, Heather Knight, and Jahrea Brown. Silvia feels that speaking the language of music and movement has been a wonderful blessing in her life and that it is an excellent way to express one’s feelings and relieve the stress and anxiety of daily living.  She is passionate about sharing this gift with youth and has been a dedicated and joy-filled dance teacher for the past two years. It is Silvia’s great joy this Year, 2023, to join the Atlanta Contemporary Dance Company (ACDC).
