Holly Stone is a professional dancer in Atlanta. She began dancing at Suwannee Academy of The Arts when she was two. Here, she studied all types of dance, took acting classes, and performed in many shows. From 9-10, she became apart of The Dance Warehouse’s competition team, where she fell in love with the pure happiness of performing.
By 11, she began online school while spending her mornings in The Royal Dance Academy’s ballet program. In the evenings, taking contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and modern. At 12, she competed as a Regional Junior Outstanding dancer at NYCDA nationals. From 14-17, she trained with Sugarloaf Performing Arts, where her technique and artistry thrived in their Conservatory program and Pre-Pro competition team. She performed the roles of Arabian Lead and Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker, plus various contemporary solos choreographed by Rachel Erin Truitt. At 15, she placed top twelve at Youth American Grand Prix, as well as at Universal Ballet Competition, when she was 16 and 17.
In more present times, she closed out her second year in Xcel Talent Agency’s Training program, by performing in their production “IMAGE NATION”. She’s immensely grateful for the fire and passion Xcel helped her find, and hopes to continue her journey with them sometime in the future. She will now embark on her second year in the safe and free flowing space of: Atlanta Contemporary Dance! Holly’s first true love was contemporary dance, and she’s so happy to continue feeding the huge part of her heart that it holds.
